I have created the icons oppisite for my iPhone. To enable me to create the 5 icons for War, SCI-FI, Horror, fantasy and Red Bull, I had to research different images that were avaliable for me to use. I did this by surfing the web.
The process I went through was to create 5 A3 collages to portray my ideas and from that I was able to carry out my final planning of how my icons would look.
I decide to hand draw my icons rather than take images of the internet. These were then scanned in and photographed and I used Photoshop to apply the final final finishing touches.
I also looked at the legal and ethical implacations and from my findings I tried to ensure that none of my icons could cause offence.
In my presentation I also included some research on the history of Apple the company and also the apple logo. Finally I did a comparison between the iPhone and the BlackBerry looking at the different functionality.
